0737/0817：不比等の四人子息の一人 藤原京家麻呂069537、死去

藤原不比等065920四男。藤原四家のうちの「京家」の開祖。

≫ 上には聖主有りて、下には賢臣有り。僕のごときは何を為さんや。なほ琴酒を事とするのみ。

｛韜晦の口振りだが、その中の心は ―― 史實が端なくも示してゐる。

0798/0817(延暦17/0702)：Japan[平安時代]、
清水寺を 坂上田村麻呂075811が建立。

0778寶龜09、大和國の興福寺の僧で子島寺で修行していた賢心（後に延鎮）は、夢のお告げで北へ向かひ、山城國愛宕郡の東山、現在の清水寺の地である音羽山に行き着いた。
金色に流れる水を見付けた彼がなほもその源へと辿って行くと、そこにすでに山籠もりして瀧行をする僧がゐた。千手觀音を念誦するその行者は行叡居士と言った。二百歳にも垂んとする白衣の彼は「汝が來たるのを待ち望んでゐた。我はこれより東國へ旅立つ。後のことは汝に托さん」と云ひ殘して忽然と立ち去った。
行叡が千手觀音の化身であることを悟った賢心は、靈木に千手觀音像を刻み、安置した。それが清水寺の縁起だといふ。

それから二年後の0780寶龜11、鹿を追って山奥へと入りこんだ坂上田村麻呂075811は賢心と遭遇した。田村麻呂は妻の病氣のために鹿の生き血を求めてゐたのである。賢心は攝政の罪を誡められた田村麻呂は歸依して、本堂を寄進したといふ。
以上の縁起により、清水寺では行叡を元祖、延鎮を開山、田村麻呂を本願と位置づけている。

といふことで、この記事は正確ではない。が、寺社の縁起はかうしたものだ。

0967/0817(康保04/0709)：Japan[平安時代]『延喜式』施行

平安時代中期、醍醐天皇の命により藤原時平087109らが編纂を始め、時平の死後は藤原忠平088049が編纂に当たった格式（律令の施行細則）。
『弘仁式』『貞観式』とその後の式を取捨編集し、0927延長05に完成した。その後改訂を重ね、0967康保04より施行された。

源爲義109656、同族の源義朝により處刑

白河法皇と鳥羽上皇の護衛を務めるが、不祥事を重ねて信任を失ひ、検非違使を解任される。その後、攝關家の藤原忠實107862、その子の藤原頼長112056に接近、検非違使に復職するが、八男の源爲朝113970の亂行によりふたたび解官となる。

保元の亂では、075崇徳顯仁111964上皇に付きその主力となるが敗北し、077後白河雅仁112792方に付いた源義朝112360の手により處刑された。

後嵯峨天皇の皇子。母は西園寺氏眞の女で中宮の西園寺姞子（大宮院）。
父母が自分より弟の090龜山恆仁124905天皇を耽溺し「治天の君」としたことに不満を抱き、やがて、後深草系の持明院統と亀山系の大覚寺統との分裂と對立が生じ、南北朝の波亂時代となっていく。

un magistrat, polymathe et surtout mathématicien français, surnommé « le prince des amateurs ».

彼の正確な生年は確定されてないが、1607年末から1608年初頭とされてゐる。従来は1601年とされて、墓石の没年齢との矛盾があったが、2001年に發見された資料で、生後すぐ死んだ兄との混同であったことが確定した。
｛したがって、この生年月日も正しくない。が、史上屈指の人だから、遺して置く。

朱印船貿易が始まると安南國との貿易に從事し、その蓄財により、京都山城の大堰川、高瀬川開削して運河にした。

臨済宗の僧。大和国柳生藩初代藩主となった柳生宗矩157146の末子で、柳生家菩提寺の芳徳寺の第一世住持となった。
十二歳のときに父が逝去するが、その父の遺志により京都の大徳寺で出家、天祐紹果に入門して名を義仙とあたへられ、列堂和尚と稱した。

｛マンガ『子連れ狼』のフィクションの人物かと思ってゐたが、名前は實在してゐたのか。識らなかった。

ナポレオンの將軍となったドゼは「まだもう一度戦って勝つ時間はある！」と叫び、三個連隊を率いて敵の中央部に突進。そして、勝利が見えた瞬間、彼の胸板を一發の銃彈が貫いた。

優れた軍事的才能と合理的な國家運營でプロイセンを強國化、代表的な啓蒙專制君主として「大王」と讚へられた。
さうした公的な能力とは別に、藝術方面でも才能ゆたかで、音樂ではフルウトの演奏など玄人はだしであった。
当時の時代文化であったフランス啓蒙思想についても Voltaire 169478 と親交するなど、學問や技藝にロココ的宮廷人の模範となる王樣でもあった。
食についてもグルメかつ健啖であった。ドイツにジャガイモを廣めたのも彼であった。

第一次エチオピア戦争でイタリア王国を破り、西洋列強にエチオピアの独立を承認させた。これは、当時のアフリカの諸王国中、唯一独立を実現した事例として有名となった。

当時、ネブラスカ準州ララミ砦の近くで、アメリカ陸軍とインディアンのラコタ･スー族とが、牛一頭の賠償を巡って起こした紛争。

「massacre」と呼ばれてゐるが、實際は武装した兵隊がインディアンの村に來襲し、武力行使に及び、返り討ちにあって全滅してしまったというお粗末。西部の大平原地帯での「インディアン戦争」の最初期の事件とされる。

｛強すぎて、人柄も謹直で面白味に欠ける。多分、傳説の作り方の失敗。後でも出てくるけど、日本人はやゝもすれば一邊倒に、贔屓の引き倒しをやってしまふ。

大伯父の Franz JosephⅠの後継者として1916に卽位、オウストリア=ハンガリ帝國の皇帝となった。WWⅠに敗れ「國事不關與」を宣言したが、王權神授説說にもとづいて退位は拒絶。
財産はほとんど新生のオウストリア共和國に沒收された後、二度にわたりハンガリ國王への復歸を試みるが失敗、ポルトガル領のマデイラ島に流され、そこで困苦のうちに病死した。

個人としてはきはめて善良な人物であった、らしい。

1887/0817：USA黒人思想家 Marcus Mosiah Garvey 188740、誕生

ヨウロパの植民地政策からのアフリカ解放を主張し、アフリカ回帰運動のもっとも重要な提案者として知られる。北米地域において黒人の権利を主張した先駆者であり、後のネーション・オブ・イスラムやラスタファリアニズムといった宗教・思想運動に影響を与えただけでなく、公民権運動にも影響を与えた。

｛その死の殉死性を悼んで、あんまり全員が絶讃するので、贔屓の引き倒しではないが、却ってその人物が胡散臭くなる。自分の戦艦を撃沈された、敗軍の將なんだから、さう諸手を擧げて評價するのは如何なものか、と思ひました。

この男が、惡魔のやうに日本への原爆投下を主張しつづけたのだった。この自分のプロジェクトに熱狂する軍人の主張に政治家たちは躊躇しつゝも引摺られてしまった。といふのが最新の原爆投下についての史實、らしい。

During his time as Associate Director, Felt served as an anonymous informant, nicknamed "Deep Throat", to reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein of The Washington Post, providing them critical information about the Watergate scandal, a scandal which ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard M. 米アトランタで少女殺害容疑により服役していたユダヤ系受刑者を、群衆が暴徒化して刑務所より拉致し、リンチにより殺害。

MLBのクリブランド･インディアンスの犠打と守備に長けた遊撃手だったチャプマンは、1920/0816の試合で、NewYork Yankees のカァルメイズの投球を頭部左側の顳顬に受けて昏倒し、半日の翌日早朝に死亡した。

この悲劇を教訓として、以後、試合中に汚れたボウルは審判の判断でいつでも交換できるやうになり、スピットボウルなどの細工への対策が徹底された。

國鐵の東北本線でレイルが外され、列車が脱線転覆、乗務員が死亡。

The Matsukawa derailment (松川事件 Matsukawa jiken) occurred at 0309 AM on August 17, 1949 when a Tōhoku Main Line passenger train derailed and overturned between Kanayagawa and Matsukawa stations in Fukushima Prefecture of Japan, killing three crew members.
Together with the Mitaka 三鷹事件 and Shimoyama 下山事件 incidents, it was one of three major criminal cases involving allegations of sabotage blamed by the government on Japanese Communist Party and the Japan National Railway Union in the immediate post-war era.
