唐代杰出的天文学家，中国佛教密宗创始人俗名「張遂」，法號「敬賢」，號「大慧禪師」，魏州昌樂人，唐代僧人，也稱為沙門一行、一行阿闍梨，唐人還呼爲「一公」。他是唐代著名的天文學家也是風水學家，真言宗將其列為傳持八祖之一。

勝沼に本據を構へ、竹居村の中村甚兵衛竹居安五郎（吃安）兄弟や安五郎の舎弟分の上黒駒村の黒駒勝藏らと島爭ひした。他にも、駿河の清水次郎長182093とも敵對關係であった。
1854、甲府で三井卯吉が殺された。祐天は獨力で仇を捜し出し仇を打った。卯吉の島を繼承し、卯吉が持ってゐた目明かし職も引き繼いだ。

フルウトの材質にも關心を持ち、金屬だけでなく木材なども試した。ミュンヘン大學で音響学を學んだ後、フルウトの改良を本格的に始め、新たなキイシステムを採用したフルウトで1847年特許を取得、1851のロンドン万博で公開された。

基（ラジカル）についての新たな考え方を採用し「構造化学」の確立に貢献した。
また、二級・三級アルコールの存在を予見した。
脂肪酸などの酸の塩の電気分解を研究し「コルベ電解」を開発した。また「コルベ合成」または「コルベ＆シュミット反応」と呼ばれる手法によりアスピリンの主成分となるサリチル酸を合成した。

石印以外にも陶印や金印の制作も巧みであった。印面・鈕形・色彩のすべてに優雅な趣があり人気を博した。犬養毅や幸田露伴などの名流がその印を用いた。

1920/0212、ラムステッドはフィンランド初代公使として東京に着任した。日本滞在中は外交官としての活動のかたわら、言語学者としても研究もおこなひ、白鳥庫吉の紹介で東京帝国大学で招待講師として講義した。このときの受講者の一人に柳田國男がゐた。
ラムステッドは日本語のアルタイ諸語起源説を唱へた。彼の影響を受けた研究者には柳田國男のほか、言語学の新村出・金田一京助、朝鮮研究の小倉進平、イスラム＆トルコ学者の内藤智秀等がいる。また、
1926/12の講演には、宮沢賢治の姿が聴衆としてあった。賢治はラムステッドの講演に感銘を受け、講演後に会話を求め、後に自著（『春と修羅』『注文の多い料理店』）を贈呈した。「著述にはエスペラントが一番」とラムステッドに推獎されたのを受けてエスペラントを勉強し、自作の詩や俳句の翻訳を試みた。
このように、文化学術面にも日本に影響をあたへつゝ1929年まで日本に滞在した。

世界制作論
1975年の『世界制作の方法』において、グッドマンは「人間はヴァージョンを制作することによって世界を制作する」という主張を行った。「ヴァージョン」とは記号システムのことである。例えば、日常的知覚、言語的表現、絵画作品、音楽、表情、身振りなどはいずれも「記号システム」であるが、世界制作とのかかわりで認識論的に重要なのは当然ながら「科学理論」にほかならない。世界制作論のいくつかの重要な含意のうち最も問題をかもすのは、その複数主義であろう。すなわち、論理的に両立し得ないが「正しい」複数のヴァージョンがありうる、という主張である。それゆえ世界は数的に複数存在することになる。
彼のこの見地は一種の構成主義であるが、ヴァージョンの背後に何かしら実在する世界なるものを認めるわけではない。この意味で世界制作論はある種の反実在論、いや非実在論(irrealisim)を主張している。この思想は古代東アジアに発祥したブッディズムとりわけ「唯識論」に酷似する
