ein überwiegend in Wien lebender Mechaniker und Erfinder.

自動車開発の先駆者。1870年頃、原型的な内燃機関を単純な荷車に搭載した。液体燃料の使用で設計されており、ガソリン駆動の世界初の自動車の原型を作った、とされる。

彼女の逝去した日に書くべきことだけど ――
1941、引退した時のグレタガルボはまだ三十五歳だった。彼女のもとにはその後も多くの映画出演依頼が舞ひこんだが、彼女が映画界に復帰することはなかった。引退後は（生前からさうだったが）公の場所に姿を見せることなく、隠棲生活を守って他界した。
｛私の好きなタイプだ。彼女の映画でもその美貌でもなく、その生き方が。

「ひとり」は彼女の Key Word だった。だが、グレタガルボは呟く

北海道登別市出身のアイヌ人女性。十九年の生涯ではあったが、その著書『アイヌ神謡集』の出版が、絶滅の危機にあったアイヌ民族の傳統文化の復活への重大な契機となった。

この寫眞撮影の二ヶ月後に ――
幸恵は重度の心臓病（慢性の気管支カタルと診断されてゐたが）患ってゐたのだが、出版のために翻訳編集推敲作業に無理を續け、1922大正11/0918に『アイヌ神謠集』を完成させたその夜、心臓発作のため逝去した。

1910明治43の大逆事件の時、蘆花は幸徳秋水187111たちの處刑を阻止すべく、当代一流の言論人であった實兄の徳富蘇峰186357を通じて時の首相の桂太郎184813に助命嘆願しようとするが間に合はなかった。義憤に驅られた蘆花は、直後に一高の弁論部の要請された講演を『謀叛論』と題して、思想と信念に殉ずることの意義を説いて學生に深い感銘と動揺をあたへた。
