06/17：歴史の偶然「今日は二人の王妃と一人の女優の生死について

今日、六月十七日には古今東西遠く離れて、二人の王妃が死んだ日です。
『古今東西、歴史暦、今日の出來事』ならでは偶然、いづれ『對のあそび』にしてやらうといふつもりになって二人の史實に目を通しました。その二人とは ――

0850年、日本で嵯峨天皇の皇后であった橘嘉智子078650が崩御し、
1631年、インド地域のムガル帝國の、Sha JahanⅠの王妃、Mumtaz Mahal が崩御。
この王妃は國王のために十四人もの子を生み、その十四人目を出産した後、産褥で、三十六歳で亡くなりました。
國王は今は亡き人の生前の希望もあり、彼女のために白大理石の霊廟を造りました。それが、有名な Taj Mahal（タァジ･マハル）です。完成まで二十二年の歳月を要しました。國王はさらに自分の霊廟を黒大理石で作り、一對にしたかったやうですが、こちらは作られませんでした。

橘嘉智子は橘家の出身です。
橘の姓は元正天皇から下賜された橘三千代066533に始まります。その橘氏を實際に受け繼いだのは、三千代が最初の夫とのあひだに生んだ橘諸兄068457ですが、その嫡男の橘奈良麻呂072157が謀叛を起こさうとして藤原氏に滅ぼされ、橘氏は一氣に衰弱し、後は細々とした命脈をつなぐだけの家となってしまひましたが、そのなかから生まれたのが橘嘉智子078650でした。絶世の美女だったと云はれてゐます。
その美人を見初めたのは桓武天皇の次男で、後に嵯峨天皇となる神野親王でした。零落した橘家の嘉智子を皇后にするには王族や藤原氏との軋轢があったでせうが、嵯峨天皇は頑張りました。その嵯峨天皇のために彼女は二男五女をもうけました。
嘉智子は先祖の三千代同様に佛教に篤く歸依し、嵯峨野に檀林寺といふ禪院を創建しました。このため「檀林皇后」と呼ばれるやうになりました。
佛教に深く傾倒しながらもしたたかな政事的感覺を持ってゐた点でも三千代讓りでした。そのためか、皇位繼承の場面では複雜な立場に立ち、実の娘で皇后になってゐた正子内親王から強く恨まれるやうな行動を取りました。
佛教の信仰は彼女に、死後の自分について異常な決意をさせます。それは佛教の教説のなかにある純粹な考へ方なのですが、自分の遺骸を野原に放置し、風葬のかたちで自然に供養するといふものでした。死體が腐爛し、白骨となっていく有樣を見せて「諸行無常」の佛教の本説を示したいといふつもりもあったのでせう。自分の死體は埋葬せず、野原に放置せよと遺言し、そのとほり實行されたやうです。この美人の死の變樣の有樣を九段階で酷明に描いたものがいはゆる『九相圖』で、これが後世の末法意識が日本人に萬延した時に流行し、日本人の死生感に強い影響をあたへました。
彼女が創建した檀林寺は嘉智子が死ぬとにはかに衰へ、平安時代の中頃には廢絶してしまひました。その後、その跡地には夢窗疎石127551が禪寺の天龍寺を創建しました。

それから、
1920年の六月十七日は、日本の傳説の女優、原節子が、こちらは誕生した日です。

1462/0617：ドラキュラのモデルとなった VladⅢ、

VladⅢ143176：十五世紀のワラキア公國の君主。諸侯の權力が強かったのを中央集權化につとめオスマン帝國と對峙した。
彼の綽名の「Dracula」は「龍の息子」の意味。父のVladⅡが「Dracul」と呼ばれてゐたことに由來する。
父は神聖ロウマ帝國から龍騎士團の一員に任じられたことでさう呼ばれだしたが、龍＝ドラゴンは聖書では悪魔であり、ために後世、悪魔公の意味が強くなった。これがもっと後の時代では「ドラキュラ」傳説となる。
だが、本人は有能な、オスマントルコによる危機にたいするに權力の中央集權をめざす王であった。そのためには殘虐な手段も用ゐた（どの王もやってゐた）。彼は、オスマン帝國から自國のみならず（自國を守ることで結果的に）ヨウロパを守った。

1565/0617(永禄08/0519)：永禄の變、室町將軍、襲撃され敗死

Matsunaga Hisahide assassinates the 13th Ashikaga shogun, Ashikaga Yoshiteru.

三好義継、三好三人衆（三好長逸･三好政康･岩成友通）、松永久通らが室町幕府第十三代將軍、足利義輝153665を襲撃、殺害した事件。松永久秀151077自身は直接この事件には關係してゐない。
將軍側もはげしく應戰した。
義輝は主從三十名ほどで應戰、塚原卜傳148971直傳の兵法で義輝は奮戰したといふ。
當日在京してゐた公家の山科言繼150779日記には、同日の午の刻（昼頃）には將軍義輝も生害した。その後、正室は實家の近衛家に送り屆けられたが、寵愛を受けて懷妊してゐた側妾は殺害された。

かうして、下が上を伐つ「下剋上」の戰國時代が本格的に始まった。

ムガル帝国の第一皇妃ムムターズ・マハルが産褥死。夫の皇帝シャー・ジャハーンは彼女のために22年かけてタージ・マハルを建てる。

タジマハルはこの后妃の永遠の記憶のために夫によって發願された。十四人目の子を生み、産褥で三十六歳でなくなったといふから、その妃のための廟を作ったのだから、よほど王はこの妃を愛してゐたのであらう。

1789/0617：フランス革命、第三身分が國民議會の成立を宣言

三部会から離脱した第三身分代表が『國民議會』の成立を宣言。

Assemblée nationale：全國三部會の第三身分の議員が組織した革命議會。1789/0709に『Assemblée nationale constituante 憲法制定國民會議』と改稱した後、1791/0930に『立法議會』に取って代はられるまで、略稱として用ゐられた。

1789/0505、全國三部會召集、議決方法をめぐり紛糾、第三身分の平民は議員数の倍増を認められたが、開會冒頭ですべての評決が議員数ではなく身分別でおこなはれることが分かり、第三身分は激昂、三部會から分離して會合するやうになった。
和解の交渉は決裂、0528第三身分議員はみづからを Commune と稱して三部會からの獨立を誇示した。
0613から徐々に貴族の一部と聖職者の大多數が合流し、0617『國民議會』を公称するやうになった。

Louis XVI 175493 の財務長官、Jacques Necker 172304 は、國王が身分間對立の仲裁をはかることを早くから進言し、國王もこれに同意したが、實際の行動にはならなかった。ネッケルは第三身分のコミュンとの交渉策を練ってゐたが、
廷臣に取り卷かれたルイにはネッケルの進言は届かなくなり、國民議會の決議を破棄し、身分別の審議を命じ、三部會の再開を支持することになった。
0619、ルイ16は三部會會場の閉鎖を命じ、その後、城にこもって勅語の準備を始めた。
0620、議場が閉鎖され、兵士が立ってゐるのを見た議員らは、國王のクウデタを騷ぎ立ち、ヴェルサイユ宮殿に隣接するテニスコウトに急遽集合して「王國の憲法が制定され、強固な基盤のうへに確立されるまでは決して解散せず、狀況におうじてどんな場所でも會議を開く」ことを誓ひあった。
