Mahāvīra (महावीर) ou Mahāvīr qui signifie Le Grand Héros est le 24e et dernier Tirthankara jaïn.
Il est aussi connu sous les noms de Vīra, Vīraprabhu, Vardhamāna, Sanmati, Ativīra, Nirgrantha Nathaputta et Gnataputra.
Il est l'une des figures centrales du jaïnisme, étant considéré comme celui qui a donné au jaïnisme sa forme actuelle2 et fédérateur de la communauté jaïne (sangha).

a Roman Stoic philosopher, statesman, dramatist, and—in one work—satirist of the Silver Age of Latin literature.
He was a tutor and later advisor to emperor Nero. He was forced to take his own life for alleged complicity in the Pisonian conspiracy to assassinate Nero, in which he was likely to have been innocent.

In AD 65, Seneca was caught up in the aftermath of the Pisonian conspiracy, a plot to kill Nero. Although it is unlikely that Seneca was part of the conspiracy, Nero ordered him to kill himself. Seneca followed tradition by severing several veins in order to bleed to death, and his wife Pompeia Paulina attempted to share his fate.

二世紀に始まった民族大移動でガリア西部に西ゴウト族、ヒスパニアにスエビ族が割拠し、北アフリカに侵入したヴァンダル族は地中海沿岸部を襲撃していた。
五世紀前半にはアッティラのフン族が東欧と中欧の諸族を制圧して勃興してゐたが、0453年にアッティラが急死するとフン帝国は急速に沒落し、フランク族、ブルグント族、ゲピド族、ルギイ族、東ゴウト族などが亂立し自立していった。

西ロウマ帝國：テオドシウス一世後、東西に分割された西半分。廣義には、0286のディオクレアヌス帝によるテトラルキア導入後のロウマ帝國の西半分や、三～五世紀のテトラルキア以後の帝國西半分を云ふ場合もある。だが、この東西分割の呼び方は後世によるもので、当時はどちらもロウマ帝國と自稱してゐた。｛要するにロウマ帝國は「世界」と同じ意味であったのだ。
そして、このロウマ帝國の「世界」性を強化したのが「ラテン語」であった。このラテン語といふ人工的な世界語によって、ロウマ帝國は世界共同體となった。

聖徳太子といふか厩戸皇子の關係者には異常な名、他の時代では用ゐられない名であることが氣に懸かってきた。たとへば、厩戸皇子の妃となった菟道貝蛸皇女、菟道はいいとしても貝蛸とは何に由來するのであらうか。
厩戸といふのも他では使はれてゐない。厩戸の兄弟の一人、殖栗も聞かない。
厩戸皇子の王女に馬屋古女王といふ名があるが、これもない。
推古天皇の皇女時代の、豐御食炊屋といふのもまた。
｛かういふことからも、厩戸皇子じたいに作爲性が思はれたりもしてしまふ。

實質的にこの第四回十字軍の暴行により東ロウマ帝國が滅亡

第四回十字軍 1202~04：Innocentius III 111616 が呼びかけ、フランスの諸侯と船便を扱ふヴェネチアを中心に組織された十字軍であったが、当初の目的である聖地へは向かはず（その理由が酷すぎる）、東ロウマ帝國を攻撃し、コンスタンティノポリスを簡略、掠奪殺戮の限りをつくした。もっとも惡名高き十字軍。

Amakusa Shirō, also known as Amakusa Shirō Tokisada (天草四郎時貞), led the Shimabara Rebellion 島原の亂, an uprising of Japanese Roman Catholics against the Shogunate. They were defeated and Shirō was executed at the age of 17, his head displayed on a pike near Nagasaki.

Since the late 20th century, he has been featured in popular culture as a character in numerous manga, anime and video games.

Avec sa femme Sonia Delaunay et quelques autres, il est le fondateur et le principal artisan du mouvement orphiste, branche du cubisme et important mouvement d'avant-garde du début du XXe siècle.
Ses travaux sur la couleur prennent pour origine plusieurs théories de la loi du contraste simultané des couleurs, formulées par Michel-Eugène Chevreul. Par un travail concentré sur l'agencement des couleurs sur la toile, il cherche l'harmonie picturale.

Inoue Nisshō was a radical Buddhist preacher of Nichirenism who founded the interwar Japanese far-right militant organization Ketsumeidan (血盟団 League of Blood). Contrary to popular belief, he was never an ordained Nichiren priest, but was rather a self-styled preacher whose extremist tenets were widely denounced by Japan’s mainline Nichiren Buddhist establishment of the time.

Ketsumeidan was officially founded in 1932 together with a group of 13 young officers including Shō Onuma and Goro Hishinuma, establishing as its goal the overthrow of the political and economic elite of the time, with the motto “One Man, One Assassination.” The group’s first wave of assassinations came in early 1932, when former finance minister Junnosuke Inoue was shot on February 9, as was the Director General of the Mitsui zaibatsu Baron Dan Takuma on March 5, collectively known as the League of Blood Incident. Inoue was arrested soon after the latter assassination, after which Koga Kiyoshi, a trusted subordinate, took over the reins of the group and set about organizing a second wave, which culminated in the May 15 assassination of Prime Minister Inukai Tsuyoshi, an event known as the "May 15 Incident".

He has become famous for his posthumously discovered 15,145-page, single-spaced fantasy manuscript called The Story of the Vivian Girls, in What Is Known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion, along with several hundred drawings and watercolor paintings illustrating the story.

He was one of the most influential teachers at Yale or any other major school. He supported laissez-faire economics, free markets, and the gold standard. He adopted the term "ethnocentrism" to identify the roots of imperialism, which he strongly opposed. He was a spokesman against imperialism and in favor of the "forgotten man" of the middle class, a term he coined. He had a long-term influence on conservatism in the United States.

關東軍の「關東」は中國大陸における警備地である關東州（萬里長城の東端とされる山海關の東側＝滿洲全體）に由來。
日露戦争後、ロシア帝國から獲得した租借地、關東州と南滿洲鐵道の付属地の守備を任務とした關東都督府陸軍部が前身。1919、關東都督府が關東廳に改組されると、台湾軍や朝鮮軍と同じ軍として關東軍として獨立した。

Mou Zongsan was a Chinese New Confucian philosopher.
He was born in Shandong province and graduated from Peking University.
In 1949 he moved to Taiwan and later to Hong Kong, and he remained outside of mainland China for the rest of his life.
His thought was heavily influenced by Immanuel Kant, whose three Critiques he translated, possibly first, into Chinese, and above all by Tiantai Buddhist philosophy.
Over the last 40 years of his life, Mou wrote histories of "Neo-Daoist," Confucian, and Buddhist philosophy (totaling six volumes) a group of constructive philosophic treatises, culminating in his 1985 work, On the Summum Bonum (圓善論; yuanshan lun), in which he attempts to rectify the problems in Kant's system through a Confucian-based philosophy reworked with a set of concepts appropriated from Tiantai Buddhism.
In the People's Republic of China, Mou is especially famous for his cultural traditionalism and his defense of democracy as a traditional Chinese value.
