今日は、ノストラダムス Michel Nostradamus 150366 が Les Prophéties 豫言集を刊行した日だとあった。
「未来を見通すべく、現在を見詰め、過去を見渡す」、そんなつもりでかうして古今東西の歴史を見渡してゐるわけだが、
すでに、未來を見通したごとくに未來を告げる ―― そのためのそのヒントとなったのは
「道が見付からなかったら、作ってしまへばいい」、ロウマ軍と對決したカルタゴの大將軍ハンニバルの一言だった。さすが、アルプス越えに象を使ふ着想と實行力を持った人の云ふことは違ふ。この一言でピンときて、
「未來豫言の實現のもっとも巧みな方法は、その未來を作りだしてしまふことだ」、なんだ簡單じゃねえかと頓悟した。
さうして、かうして未來への道作りに愚公となって從事してゐるわけだが、言ふは易く行なふは難し。笛吹けど人は踊らず。
かつて私は書きつけた ――
未來＝Future は Fiction です。この現實界の統計的事實 Fact に多種多樣の希望や絶望が重ねられた想像界です。
Fact＝ゲンジツにFiction=藝術＝ゲイジツを重ねる。ゲンジツはそれだけで變化をはじめ、あらたなゲンジツとなっていく。歴史上實例はいくらでもあります。このどうしようもないゲンジツにゲイジツを振りかけるなり被せるなりして、ゲンジツを變へていくのです。それがもっともジェントルな世界の維新革命の方法です。
今は夢想のごときも（信じる者が多くなれば）夢は現となっていく。魯迅は云ひました「希望とは、それは地上の道のやうなものだ。地上にはもともと道はない。歩く人が多ければ、それが道になる」と。

USAシカゴで發生した暴動事件。0501八時間労働を要求する労働者のストライキとデモが發生。03ストライキ勞働者四名が警官に射殺される。04シカゴ市内のHaymarket廣場で抗議集會。解散を求める警察とのあひだで爆發物を用ゐた衝突が發生。警察側七名ないし八名、勞働者側四名の死者を出す。

逃亡中の一人を含めた九人のアナキストが起訴され、0621裁判が始まった。全員無罪を主張。檢察側は共同謀議でシカゴを爆破する計画を立て0504爆彈テロを始めたと主調。
共同謀議は立證できなかったのみならず、爆彈投擲の實行犯すら特定できなかった。が、過去に暴力を肯定してきた事實があり、被告人全體の責任は免れないと強辯した。
0820陪審團は三時間の合議により被告人七名に絞首刑、一人に懲役15年を評決した。辯護側は裁判のやり直しを求めたが判事は却下し「被告の誰かが爆彈投擲に加はったか、またそれを予想したかどうかは枝葉の問題である。陪審員評決を覆すことは、無政府状態を助長することに繋がる」と述べた。
1110、死刑囚となった一人が自殺し、同日夕方二人が無期に減刑。翌日、殘りの四人の死刑が執行された。

六年後の1892/0625、シカゴのあるイリノイ州知事は、被告人たちが無罪であり、処刑された四人は冤罪であると認め、下獄中の三名を無条件で釋放した。
事件の起点となった五月一日は國際的にMayDayとして記念されることになったが、USAでは暴動の記憶を甦らせかねないとして LaborDayは九月の第一月曜日に設定した。

三国干渉: 日本が遼東半島の全面放棄の勧告を受諾。↓
フランス･ドイツ･ロシアの三國による、日清戰爭の後で締結された下關条約で日本に割譲されることになった遼東半島を清に返還することを要求した勸告。
「日本による遼東半島の所有は、清國の首都である北京を脅かすのみならず、朝鮮の獨立を有名無實なものにし、極東の平和の沙汰髷となる。よって、半島領有の放棄を勸告し、誠實な友好の意を表する」といふのがその内容であった。
中心となったのはロシアであった。
下關条約で日本が遼東半島を望んでゐることを識った西洋列強は焦った。彼等は清を食ひ物にし、この眠れる獅子を解體する強欲を抱いてゐたが、清國内の反對抵抗を懸念して、それが彼等の暗黙の了解となってゐた。ところが、清に勝った日本は露骨な要求を突き付けた。これが西洋列強の對清政策を搖るがせ、ロシアを中心に自國の政策を維持するために日本の要求にケチを付けてきたのであった。
日本は講和會議のなかで清に、開市・開港場での製造業従事権を要求していたものの、それを實現させるだけの資金の裏付がなかったので、ひそかにイギリスにだけは共同経営を持ちかけてゐた。ところが、これが他國にも漏れ、三國の態度をさらに硬化させた。
当時、ロシアは清國と大差ない列強の強欲に晒されてもゐた。首都のサンクトペテルブルグには英佛獨の資本が襲來してゐた。また、ロシアは極東進出のための不凍港を求めて、南下政策をとり滿洲にその場を求めてゐた。ために日本の滿洲進出を抑壓したかった。當初は、日本が朝鮮の獨立を尊重するならば、遼東半島が日本のものになっても仕方ないと思ってゐたが、Sヴィッテの登場で一轉、ドイツフランスを誘ひ込み、干渉に載りだしてきた。
そして、翌年、三國干渉により旅順租借地を獲得した。

ロシアとドイツはイギリスにも共同行動を提案したが、世論を理由に拒否し中立に立ち、アメリカは日本に好意的だったが局外中立を守った。

日本では、首相伊藤博文182109は列強国會議による解決を提案したが、外相陸奥宗光184497は會議はさらなる干渉を招く虞なしとしないとして、英米伊などの協力を得て勸告を牽制し、撤回させることを目論んだ。が、英米が局外中立を宣したため、0504日本はやむなく勸告を受諾、清とのあひだに還付条約を結び、三千両（四千五百萬圓）を得た。だが、世論は激昂した。政府は「臥薪嘗胆」を訴へ、國民の憤激をロシア憎惡に振り向け、ロシアを想定して六六艦隊計画などの軍備擴張を推進した。
かうして、ロシアドイツフランスの三國干渉は日露戰爭への起点となった。
｛歴史は憎惡の連鎖なり。勝者は驕り高ぶり、敗者は憎み怨む。終ることはない。
