an 18th-century English Separatist theologian, natural philosopher, chemist, innovative grammarian, multi-subject educator, and liberal political theorist who published over 150 works.
He has historically been credited with the discovery of oxygen, having isolated it in its gaseous state, although Carl Wilhelm Scheele and Antoine Lavoisier also have strong claims to the discovery.

その主な科学的業績として、炭酸水の発明、電気についての著作、いくつかの気体（アンモニア、塩化水素、一酸化窒素、二酸化窒素、二酸化硫黄）の発見などがあるが、最大の功績は「脱フロギストン空気（酸素）」の命名である。1774年夏、酸化第二水銀を加熱することによって、得られる気体が燃焼を激しくすることを発見し、その気体の中でネズミが長生きすることを発見した。当時はフロギストン（燃素）説の時代であったので「脱フロギストン空気」と考え、同年 Antoine Lavoisier 174394 に話した。この実験を追実験することでラヴォアジエは燃焼の化学的プロセスを解明することになった。だが、プリストリ自身はフロギストン説に固執し、化学革命を拒否した。

彼が尊敬したプロイセン王のFriedrich II世にも「第一歩より先に第二歩を踏み出す」と揶揄され、また、彼自身、自分の墓碑銘に「よき意志を持ちながら何事も果たさざる人、ここに眠る」と刻ませた。

｛私はヴァイオリンコンチェルトが協奏曲のなかでは一番の好みだが、なかでもこのメンデルスゾンのものと Jean Sibelius 186557（1904/028初演） のもの、それと ALban Berg 188535 の遺作となった、"Dem Andenken eines Engels 天使の思ひ出のために" と題されたもの（1935/0811作曲）。

Kaneko Kentarō、a statesman and diplomat in Meiji period Japan.
明治期の官僚・政治家。司法大臣、農商務大臣。伊東巳代治185734･井上毅184495らともに大日本帝國憲法の起草に参画。また、皇室典範などの法典類にも参画した。

1855/0313：天文學で名を殘した Percival Lowell 185516、誕生

an American businessman, author, mathematician, and astronomer who fueled speculation that there were canals on Mars.
He founded the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona and formed the beginning of the effort that led to the discovery of Pluto 14 years after his death.

 

ハアシェルの望遠鏡とこのロウヱルの望遠鏡を比べて見て、科學技術の進歩の速度に愕かされた。光学機器のみならず、武器をはじめとする戰爭用具の進歩なそれ以上だ。科學技術は人間の社界を祝福し、同時に呪縛してゐるのだ。

ブ･ナロド（人民のなかへ）を信条としたためナロドロキと呼ばれた一派は、農民の一揆で皇帝中心の權力は打倒できると確信してゐたが、實際にはなかなか人民のなかに入っていけなかった。
彈壓ははげしくなり、彼等の一部は過激化し、皇帝や高官のテロを志向した。
1867、フランス訪問中のアレクサンドルⅡはパリで襲撃を受けたが、この時は運がよかった。その後も再三にわたり企てられ、
1880/02には冬宮の食堂爆破がおこなはれ、皇帝は難を逃れたが多數の犠牲者が出た。
政府は内政の改革に着手、人民の怨嗟の的になってゐた祕密警察や皇帝官房第三部を廢止、立憲制度導入に向けて議会制度の導入し、これに各種の代表を参加させる施策を立てた。そんななか、
この日、アレクサンドルⅡはサンクトペテルブルグで、ナロドロキの一員であったポウランドの没落貴族出身のイグナツィフリニ。エヴィエツキが投じた投擲爆彈により暗殺された。 このため、この日に皇帝の承認を受けた改革案は白紙に戻された。

1883/0313：彫刻家＆詩人 高村光太郎188356、誕生

Takamura Kōtarō、un sculpteur et poète japonais.
Il est le fils de Takamura Kōun, sculpteur traditionnel japonais de renom.
Il est diplômé de l’École des Beaux-Arts de Tokyo en 1902 où il a étudié la sculpture. Il étudie ensuite à New York en 1906, à Londres en 1907 et à Paris en 1908 où il travaille avec Rodin. Il rentre au Japon en 1909, et y demeure le reste de sa vie.
Son œuvre montre une forte influence à la fois du travail de l'Occident (en particulier Auguste Rodin, qu'il vénère) et des traditions japonaises.

｛どうも、「會議は踊る」あたりからなんとなくそんな予感がしてゐたのだが、カンはあたった。
勿論、ストリップショウの歴史を（歴史を裸にしていくやうに）ひもといていけば、その歴史は人類史の子宮にまで、つまり初源にまで至ってしまふであらう。
ヒトが社界的動物すなはち人間となり、着衣をいふ習慣を身に付けていったときにすなはち脱ぐといふ行爲がきはめて刺戟的な行爲として意識されるやうになった。
着衣が進歩すればするほどこの脱ぐといふ行爲の意味も高度になっていった。エロチシズムの發生である。
このエロチシズムが宗教的な儀禮において多用されるやうになった。宗教的法悦と性的なエクスタシイとが非常に似た降嫁を持つことに氣付くのは容易であった。
古代の宗教的な儀式に仕へる巫女はすなはち娼婦でもあり、舞姫でもあった。
神々は薄絹をまとった女體の、そのふくよかな姿態のなめらかな動きを好まれたのである。ために、人々は處女の踊り子を捧げ、儀式が終れば直會でそれを神人共食した（勿論ほんたうに食ってしまふわけではありません）。

濃厚な化粧を施し、脱いでいくことになる薄絹を纏はせ、S字のモウドで舞踊させ、酒を注いでまはらせる。
だが、それは現在のやうに觀衆をまへにした世俗的なものではなく（ま、微妙ではあるが）性的じゃなかった聖的な目的を持ってゐた。
かうして、女體は切磋琢磨され、さらに魅力的な姿態と動作とを備へていった。

かうした祕儀が一般大衆にも氣付かれることになったのは、なにもかもにも光を當てようとするする Enlightenment すなはち啓蒙時代以後のこととなるだらう、か。
裸體畫が、勿論女體の裸體畫が求められ、裸婦を見たいがために神話や歴史畫を描かせるといふ囘りくどい、紆余曲折を辿りながら、女體はその着衣を一枚一枚脱いでいきながら、フランスの市民革命とイギリスの産業革命の時代の大きな転換期を經て、人間解放が自覺されるなか、それを象徴するかのやうに現代風俗のなかに裸の女が紛れこんでくるやうになった。
すでに、文藝や美術の世界ではさうした動く女體にたいする興味と關心は臨界点にまで達してゐた。
歴史畫は意味もなく裸の女を散亂させるやうになり（もうそこに描かれてゐるのは美神ではなく日常性豐かな女たちであった）、現代生活にも裸體の女が描かれる（私には、クウルベが『画家のアトリエ』1845-55 

で着服男たちのあひだに裸婦を置いたのはまだしも理解できるが、いまだにマネが描いた『草上の昼食』1862~63 

でなぜ女だけが全裸なのか、その意味を解せずに。それは古典の引用、ジョルジョウネの引用とかいった説明では、今一つも二つも納得がいかないのである）。フランスの十九世紀の画家は、古典主義にしろ印象主義にしろ、いづれの画家も裸婦を描くことの情熱では共通してゐた。あのドガですら、覗き見るやうにして體を洗ふ女體をせっせと描いてゐる。
あの脂の乘った豐滿な曲體は陰影のパアスペクティヴを主と技法とする西洋美術において最適の對象だったのであらう。

東洋系、殊に日本の女が着物を着せたはうが美しくなるのにたいし、西洋の女は裸體となったときがもっとも美しい、黒人もさうだらう。誰かから聞いたやうな気もするし、私の觀察が呟かせたのか、どうでもいいが、日本の女性美はどうやら藝妓の姿形へときはまっていったやうにおもはれる。そこには武家の、商家の妻女たちの（といふより彼女たちの男たちの）美意識の洗練が凝縮されてゐるやうに、人形浄瑠璃を見てゐてさう思はれたのであった。黒髮を冠のやうに作りあげ、その大きさを支へるにたる衣裝を着せていく。人體の部分は人形の芯のやうなものに過ぎなくなる。
それは歴史の重なりが作りだしていった洗練であり、女性美にかんするすべての工夫や發明が溶融され、圓寂して、これ以上の完成はあるまいといふ完成、もう足すことも引くこともしてはならないと思はせるものを藝者の衣裝は持ってゐる。 ―― と私は實物を見てさう思ったのではない。多くは映画が描いた藝妓を見て、そこに過去の日本美術の事が重なってきて、さう思ひ感じていったのであった。
包み隠すことによっって發生するエロティシズム。日本人男性の女體への審美學は、高度に優れて人工的なものであった。
西洋のはうは、脱がせていくことに熱心だった。それは彼等の個人主義の發現、ルソウの露惡的な告白癖と同質の意識であるはずだ。なにもかも、脱いでいく方向に表現の意義を持たせる。脱いで行けば、最後には本質に到達できると信じこんでゐるのだ。だが、どうだらうか。ラッキョウの皮を剥いていっても、どこまでも皮のまゝ、といふことにならないのであらうか。
私とは何か、とふと思ひ考へて、鏡を見て、これが自分なのかと疑心暗鬼となってくるだらう。しかも、この私なるものは日々、意識的にせよ無意識的にであれ、變化しつづけるのである。
私は私であると思ふことだけがアイデンティティでしかないのではないか。
自己などといふものが存在の中心に確固として存在してゐるのかどうか、フロイトもユングもさうした存在を假定してゐるが、だが、ほんたうにそんな核芯を人間は持ってゐるのだらうか。
むしろ、日本的に、着物を身に付けていくやうにして、その重なりのなかにアイデンティティが生成されていくのではないか。だから、人は變身もできれば轉生もできるのである。
現代人が個性に、差異にこだわるのも、人間の本質が内部よりも外部に、表面にあると信じてゐるからではないだらうか。閑話休題。
ボウドレエルが『惡の華』を出版し、また、フロベルが『マダムヴォヴァリ』を出版して、いづれも猥褻罪で有罪になったのは、千八百六十年代前後のことである。
ワイルドが刺戟的な詩劇サロメを書いてパリで上演して大成功したのは、ストリップショウが始まる直前、1893年のことであった。
女體は妖しく動きだしたのである。
劇場形式でストリップショウとなったのは、以外にも遲く、十九世紀末のフランスはパリであった。

1905/0313：稀代の妖女、マタハリの登場

それは、エロティシズムとエクゾシズムの合體であった。しかも、そこに國際関係がスパイ物として絡みついてくるのだから、このマタハリの女體にヨウロパ近代から現代のレゾンデトルが象徴されてゐる感がある。
このエキゾックな美女の體が、いまだあまり見慣れてゐない裸體状態でうごめくのだから、ヨウロパの男たちは誰もがこのアジア系の美女に發情した。フランス人も、ドイツ人も、ありとあらゆるヨウロパのエリイトたちが彼女の體に群がった。
いつしか彼女はヨウロパ中の重要祕密を識ってしまふことになる。
彼女はスパイとされ二重スパイ、多重スパイとされ、もうどこの國のスパイなのか、たとへ彼女がスパイだったとしても、おそらく彼女自身ワケわからなくなってゐたではないか。
スパイもストリッパと同じくらゐ古くて新しい職業であった。

オランダに生まれた彼女には母親からジャワ系の東洋人の血が混じってゐた。東洋人の血が入ってゐたのである。
かうして、エロチシズムとエクゾシムとが彼女の肉體において溶けあった。

世紀末が明けたパリに姿をあらはした彼女は二十歳代半ばの若さと成熟とを漲らせてゐた。オリエンタルはジャワからやってきた王女の血筋の高級巫女といふ觸れ込みで踊り子となった。その賣り込みにたがはぬ容姿であった。
藝名は、現地語で「太陽（の目）」を意味する「マタハリ」と付けられた。

彼女の體は多淫性でもあった。多くはエリイト階級の男たちと男と寝た。フランス人に、ドイツ人もゐたし、スペイン人も、その他諸々の歐洲各國のエリイト軍人が、たんなる踊り子の娼婦といふよりどこかその神秘的な容姿において高級巫女の趣を持った彼女に惹かれ、思はぬ告白をしてしまったり、あるいは彼女の託宣を聞いたりしたはずだった。 折から、ヨウロパには第一次世界大戰が始まってゐた。

戰況において不利であったフランスはその責任を轉嫁すべく、マタハリに目を付けた。 1917、マタハリは二重スパイの容疑でフランス当局に逮捕、起訴された。逮捕理由は、ドイツの在スペイン駐在武官がマタハリを暗号名「H21」で呼んでゐたことをフランス当局が暗号解讀したことであった（だが、いまだに彼女が諜報活動をしてゐたのか確認はされてゐないらしい）。一種の「魔女裁判」であった。
マタハリは有罪、死刑を宣告された。そして、1015、銃殺刑に書せられた。あっけないほど簡單に。まるで笑談かお芝居のやうに、彼女の人生は不意に終った。
そのためか、その銃殺の場面はさまざまに、好き放題に想像された。そのなかには、銃殺寸前に彼女は懸けられてゐたコウトを脱ぎ捨て、素っ裸になって銃彈を受けたとか、 ……

1919年に彼は教え子としてRudolf Hess 189487を知り、1921年にはAdolf Hitler 188945と会った。

Young New Yorker Kitty Genovese is stabbed by Winston Moseley near her home in Queens. The circumstances of her murder, which lasts more than half an hour and is observed by 38 people who do not intervene, characterize the concept of Genovese syndrome.
She was stabbed to death outside her apartment building in Kew Gardens, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. # Two weeks after printing a short article on the attack, The New York Times published a longer report that conveyed a scene of indifference from neighbors who failed to come to Genovese's aid, claiming 37 or 38 witnesses saw or heard the attack and did not call the police. The incident prompted inquiries into what became known as the bystander effect or "Genovese syndrome".

After his death allegations of plagiarism, falsified credentials, and abusive treatment of students were raised and later substantiated.

彼はユダヤ系だったため、1938年にダッハウ強制収容所、そしてブヘンヴァルト強制収容所に送られた。が、戦争勃発前の1939年に解放されるという幸運に恵まれ、アメリカに移住。ここで、彼は心理学の訓練を受けたと自称し、心理学の教授として身を立てた。幸運にもナチスが大学の記録を破棄していたため、確認のしようがなかった。

（Hermeneutik）と名づけられる、言語テクストの歴史性に立脚した独自の哲学的方法
心理と方法第二部で、從來の解釋學に代はる「哲學的解釋學」を主張。
ロマン主義的＆歴史主義的な解釈学は、テクストないし歴史的出来事をその時代から理解すべきだという歴史的意識の要求に従って、形式的な解釈学的循環をテクストや歴史に適用し、理解する者の歴史性を否定してしまった。しかし、Martin Heidegger 188976 によれば、理解（了解）は有限な人間存在の存在様式として、それ自身歴史的なのである。人文科学での理解、過去から伝承されたテクストの理解は、ロマン主義的歴史主義的解釈学が考えていたように、現在と現在に由来する先入見を排して、時代を飛び越えて、成立時のテクストとかその著者の心情とかを再構成することではない。理解は過去が現在に媒介（橋渡し）される出来事、過去から伝わったテクストの意味への参与である。理解が媒介・参与である以上、テクストの内容を現在に生かす適用は、理解においていつもすでに起きていると考えなければならない。テクストそのものの意味を捉えたあとで、それをあとから自らの状況に適用するのではない
この理解をプラトンの問答術を援用して「問答の弁証法」としても記述 ―― 過去から伝承されたテクストが解釈者に語りかけ、問いかける。テクストの内容の真実性に動かされ、解釈者にとって自明で無意識であった（先入見）が自明性を失ひ、これによってはじめて解釈者は自分の先入見を反省し、問いを立てるようになる。
