それから百年後のイタリアに、中國に行って留まり東西の文化を交流させた男が生まれました。1552年のことです。
このやうな「冒険家」「探檢家」によって、世界は一つの「地球」となっていきました。
陸地にも海上にも道が作られ、東西南北、人々はさかんに交流しました。
絹や紙や火薬が、煙草や珈琲や性病が、阿片や奴隷や金銀が交易されました。
かうして地球は一つの「世界」となっていきました。
