共産主義も民主主義も、狂氣の者の手に握られた世界の行方。言刃と言刃の太刀打ちのうちに、ホントの掴みあひ殺しあひになっていく。
この現代に限ったことではない。昔からずっと、古今東西、こんなふうであった（そのことはこの『歴史暦』を見れば一目瞭然でせう）

すべての原因は人間にある、と思はなければなるまい。このまゝの人間では、どんな政治體制にならうとも、民主主義だらうが共産主義だらうが、その實態は衆愚社界となってしまふ。
もうそろそろ氣付いてもいい頃だらう。人間自身が變らなければ、この先もずっとこの痴愚を續けていかなければならないことに。

天武天皇063086長男（卑母のため皇位繼承權を與へられず）、壬申の亂では、近江大津京を脱出し東國に移動した父に合流、將軍を任される。天武崩御後の持統天皇の時代には太上大臣に任じられ、實質的に皇太子の地位にあったものと推測される。
その死は俄の死で、宮廷詩人であったらしい柿本朝臣人麻呂の挽歌（日本詩歌の最高傑作の一つ）や『日本書紀』の記載などから推測すると、暗殺の可能性も想像される。

鎌倉時代、中國南宋から渡來した禪僧、大覺派の開祖。諡號は大覺禪師。1246（33歳）、渡宋した泉涌寺の月翁智鏡の縁で弟子とともに來日。宋風の本格的な臨濟宗を流布する。
鎌倉執権の北条時頼122763に鎌倉に招かれ、退耕行勇の開いた常楽寺（神奈川県鎌倉市）の住持となった。
1253、時頼により建長寺が創建されると開山となる。その時の建長寺はほとんどが中國人であり、無學祖元122686をはじめとして渡來層はまづ建長寺に入った。『沙石集』を作った無住道曉122712の『雜談集』には「建長寺はまるで異國のやうであった」と感想を述べてゐる。
蒙古襲來の時には、元の密偵の嫌疑を受け、伊豆國に移され、その時修禪寺の改宗をおこなふ。後、京都の建仁寺などの從事となり、一時、讒言で甲斐國に流されたりして、ふたたび建長寺に戻り、そこで示寂。

さくま あづまを 常陸國の郷士の家に生まれ、僧籍に入り、萬葉和歌を學ぶ。奈良の眞言宗豐山派の總本山長谷寺で本格的に修行し、25歳、新治郡の眞鍋村の善應寺の住職となる。そこで、藤田東湖180655や會澤正志齋178263らとの交流のなかで國學を學び、この頃から東雄と號して歌人として識られるやうになった。東湖より水戸藩への出仕を勸められたが固辭した。
1842、善應寺の住職を辭して江戸へ出る。平田篤胤177643の門下に國學を學び、翌年、還俗して國學の復古を志し、鹿島神宮に參拜し、櫻千株を奉納。それに因み「佐久良靱負東雄」と改名。
