日本の古代、律令時代の東海道は、足柄聲を本道としてゐた。
ところが、0800~02の富士山の噴火で通行ができなくなった。その後、復舊したが、その間に作られたのが、箱根峠請えの筥荷路（箱根路）であった。
その後、距離が短縮される箱根越えのはうが主要になっていったが、足柄路も利用されつづけた。

55文徳道康082758女御となり、56清和惟仁085081天皇を生む。

父の北家良房080472が「年經れば齢は老いぬ、しかはあれど、花をし見れば物思ひもなし」と詠じて、娘の明子を櫻とみた話が『古今集』に乘ってゐる。大變な美貌の持ち主だったやうだ。
だが、彼女の氣質は躁鬱型で、物の怪に惱まれることが多かったらしい。

1183/0622(壽永02/0601)：齋藤實盛111183、死

日本の武人。老齢で戰に出る時、白髪を黒く染めたことが『平家物語』に記されてゐる。

室町時代の1414應永二十一年の三月、加賀國の江沼郡、潮津で七日七夜の別時念佛を興行した、その四日目、布教中の時宗の遊行十四世太空のもとに白髪の老人が現れ、十念を受けて群集のなかにふたたび姿を消したといふことがあった。この白髪の老人が、この地で源平合戰の時に討死した齋藤別當實盛の亡靈ではなかったかの風聞が立った。これを訊いた太空は卒塔婆を立て、その遊魂を慰めたといふ ―― これが京都にまで傳はり「事實ならば稀代の事なり」と都人は愕いた。この話は世阿彌元清136343の耳にも届き、世阿彌は『實盛』を作った。
以來、遊行上人による實盛供養が行事となり、『奥の細道』を歩いて当地まで來た松尾芭蕉164494は、多太神社に所藏されてゐた實盛の甲を見て、「むざんやな甲のしたのきりぎりす」と詠じた。

1360/0622(延文05=正平15/0509)：南北朝の戰爭を生きた男

北朝方の畠山國清、南朝方の楠木正儀の赤坂城を陥落。

楠木正儀133089は楠木正成129436の三男、楠木正行??1348･楠木正時132748の弟。不肖の子と『太平記』では酷評されてゐるが、

1348、四條畷の戰で兄の正行正時が討死して、楠木氏を繼ぎ、南朝方の先鋒の武將となる。
1350、室町幕府の内紛＝觀應の擾亂にさいしては、これを好機として南朝の挽囘に努めるとともに南北兩朝の統一に向けての努力もした。
正平一統後の1352に北畠顯能･千種顯經らとともに足利義詮を驅逐して十七年ぶりに京都を奪還した。が、すぐさま勢力を回復した義詮に男山八幡で敗れ、一ヶ月あまりで京都を追ひ出された。
その後も畿内各地で戰をし、攝津河内兩國に勢力を擴大、1354、足利直冬が南朝方として九州から上洛した際にはともに戰ひ、再び京都を奪還するが、義詮の反撃に再び撤退した。
1361にも室町幕府の政爭（康安の政變）で失脚して南朝に來た元幕府執事の細川清氏らととともに三度目の京都奪還に成功するが、翌月には撤退。
かうした戰鬪を繰り返す一方で、南北朝の合體を北朝の佐々木道譽129673らに働きかけ、1367、管領の細川頼之132992を仲介して和睦を画策するが、將軍義詮の拒絶で不成立となった。
翌年、正儀に全幅の信頼を置いてゐた後村上天皇が崩御。その後繼天皇が和睦派の熈成親王ではなく強硬派の長慶天皇が卽位氏、正儀は南朝方で孤立。1369、正儀は知己となってゐた細川頼之を介して、室町三代將軍の足利義滿135808に歸服、北朝方に投降した。当然、南朝方の反撥を買ひ、攻撃を受けたが、頼之の應援で凌いだ。
しかし、細川頼之の勢力が翳りだすと正儀の立場は危ういものとなり、河内國守護職を解任され、1379康暦の政變で頼之が失脚すると、北朝方で孤立することになり、1382、南朝に歸參し、參議に任じられた。
1389に死去したとされるが、1391/0822に赤坂で討死したとも傳はってゐる。

楠木正成129436の子らしからぬ經歴だが（『太平記』は口を極めて誹ってゐるが）、南朝方のためにもっとも働いた武將であった。

1377/0622：イングランド、祖父から孫へ、王位繼承

この日の前日のイングランド王Edward Ⅲ 131277 の死去により（王太子の嫡子、Edward the Black Prince が先に死去してゐたため）孫の Richard Ⅱ 136700 が即位。

Edward Ⅲ 131277：在位、1327~77。五十年にわたり君臨し、イングランドを強國にし、百年戰爭を始めた。

RichardⅡ136700：在位、1377~99、幼少で卽位したため重臣らに摂政され、長じては側近を重用して反撥を招き、その反對派を排除して獨裁體制に入ると一層の反撥を招き、從弟の Henry Bolingbroke（後の Henry Ⅳ 142171）主導のクウデタで王位から追放され、幽閉されて死去、プランタジネット朝を斷絶させた。

1403/0622(應永10/0603)：日本、京都の相國寺の七重塔、落雷で燒失

相国寺の七重塔が落雷のため焼失。

1382永徳二年、室町幕府三代將軍足利義滿135808は、「花の御所」の隣地に禪宗の大伽藍の建立を思ひ立ち、十年後の1392明徳三年に完成させた。
そして、發願の時にこの寺の開山を禪の師である春屋妙葩131288にしたが、固辭。再三の要請に、彼の師となる夢窗疎石127551を開山とし、その二世としてなら受けると讓歩した。尤も、その春屋も伽藍の完成前に死去し、三代目となった空谷明應により落慶法要がなされた。
伽藍は完成してから二年後、火災により大半が燒失。すぐに再建されたが、1425年、再度全燒した。
七重大塔が建立されたのは1399應永六年であったが、これも四年後には落雷で燒失した。高さは360尺（109m）、歴史上最高の佛塔であった。この塔も、場所を移して再建されたが、義滿歿後にふたたび落雷で燒失した。その後ｍまた再建されたが、これも落雷で燒失した。
相國寺自體も1467の應仁の亂で細川方の陣地とされて燒失、1551の細川晴元と三好長慶の戰鬪で燒失、その都度再建されたが、江戸時代に入っても1620に火災、1788の天命の大火でほとんどの堂塔が燒失した。それでも再建がなされ、今日にいたってゐる。
