私にとっては、
1894明治29年に詩人の北村透谷186894が二十六歳で首を吊って自決した日、
それから、江戸時代へとさかのぼっていけば、
狂歌師の大田南畝174923が辭世も狂歌で作って死んだ日、
俳句師の松尾芭蕉164494が『奥の細道』への紀行へと旅立った日、
西洋では、
ルイ十六世となるブルボン家のボンボンがオウストリアのハプスブルク家の十四歳のマリ･アントニアと結婚した日。そして、
アメリカの詩人＆小説家の Edgar Allan Poe 180949 が十三歳の從妹と結婚した日。
どちらもそれぞれに、その後に悲劇を演じさせられて ……

松尾芭蕉164494、河合曾良164910を伴ひ『奥の細道』の旅に出立。元祿二年春、四十五歳の松尾芭蕉164494は敬愛する西行111890の五百回忌の年に思ひ立って、江戸は深川の芭蕉庵を引き拂ひ、陸奥北陸の名所舊蹟を訪ね行く行程六百里の旅へと出立した。
行く春や、鳥啼き魚の目は泪

Voltaire est envoyé à la Bastille.文名次第に上がっていった彼は、フランスの政界を痛烈に批判し、中傷する詩文を書くやうになり、それを出版、それが權力の逆鱗に觸れ、1717/05、バスティユ監獄に投獄され、ほゞ一年間をそこで過ごした。彼が二十二歳から三歳となる頃であった。
その頃、彼は Voltaire といふペンネイムを遣ひだす。彼の本名は、François-Marie Arouet であった。Voltaire とは、その Arouet をラテン語表記して AROVETLI、それをアナグラムしたとか、子供の頃から徒名 Volontaire 意地っぱり を捩ったとか諸説ある。
彼の有名な「私は君の意見に賛成できないが、君の發言できる權利は命をかけてでも守る」
“Je ne suis pas d’accord avec ce que vous dites, mais je défendrai jusqu’à la mort votre droit de le dire” était désormais son attitude.
｛でもね、ほんたうに彼がさうだったかは疑はしい。それに、これも彼がほんたうにさう云ったことかどうかも。
Monsieur l’abbé, je déteste ce que vous écrivez, mais je donnerai ma vie pour que vous puissiez continuer à écrire.
｛ほんたうは彼はかう手紙に書いたのが元だとも云はれてゐるが、實際には見付からなかったさうだ。
1770/0516：ルイ･オウギュストとマリ･アントニアの結婚、

長年、敵對關係にあったブルボン家とハプスブルク家との和解のために、オウストリアのマリアテレジアは娘のマリアアントニアをブルゴウニュ公ルイジョセフとの婚姻を画策してゐたが、ルイジョセフが急死し、相手をルイオウギュストに變へ、1763/05使者を立てた。が、ルイオウギュストの父、王太子のルイフェルディナンが強硬に反對し、話は頓挫してゐたが、その反對者が死んで、1769/06、祖父となるルイ15世からマリアテレジアに婚約文書が贈られ、父の死後に王太子となったルイオウギュストとマリアアントニアの結婚がヴェルサイユ宮殿で擧行された。
王太子ルイオウギュストは1774/0510、國王に卽位。
だが、フランスは大きく變りゆく時代に突入してゐた。ちょうど一年後の1775/05には、食糧難にパリで暴動が起こり、ヴェルサイユ宮殿にも餓ゑた群集が大擧押し寄せた。そして、フランスは革命の季節へと移っていく。
二人に待ってゐたのは、1793/0121の革命廣場でのギロチンによる公開處刑だった。

ついでと云ってはなんだが、この結婚式の三六年後、アメリカの詩人にして小説家、Edgar Allan Poe 180949 は十三歳の從妹と結婚したのが五月十六日であった。
この結婚も悲慘な結果に終った。

これを見て、狂歌師を自稱する私、即興
