2017/0425、北朝鮮、朝鮮人民軍の創建八十五周年の記念日を迎へ、日本海は「天氣晴朗なれど浪高し」の狀況となってゐる。
北朝鮮がホンキならアメリカもホンキ、「北朝鮮問題は何十年も放置されてきたが、解決しなければならない時期に來た」とアメリカの大統領が云へば、北朝鮮の獨裁者は「我が國は米国が望むいかなる戦争に対応する意志も力も持っている」「米国は政治的降伏か軍事的降伏の一つを選択する宿命しかない」「アメリカの策略と核の脅しの歴史に終止符を打ってやる」と息卷き、挑撥と挑撥のチキンゲイムを演じてゐる。
刃物を持ったキチガヒに付けるクスリはなく、オロオロドキドキ、爲すスベもなく傍觀してゐるしかない。
今日は無事でも、明日以降、危機は持続されていくことになる。ま、平和ボケが拔けきれない日本人にはちょうどいいクスリなのかも知れないが。
今日、四月二十六日は文化の日と云ひたいほど、各種の（私にとっては意義深い）文化が誕生した日だ。
『自省録』の Marcus Aurelius Antoninus ロウマ皇帝が生まれ、『梁塵祕抄』を作った後白河天皇が崩御し、船の心を持つ William Shakespeare が生まれ、
二十世紀に入ると、カンディンスキらの『青騎士』、カフカの『審判』が出版され、ピカソの『ゲルニカ』、そして黒澤明の『七人の侍』が作られた。
後はあいかはらず、戰爭と殺人の記録が蜿々と古代から現代までつづいてゐる。

Congiura dei Pazzi：フィレンツェのパッツィ家（Pazzi）がライバルのメディチ家当主のロレンツォ・デ・メディチらを暗殺しようとした事件。フィレンチェの Pazzi パッツィ家によるライヴァルのメディチ家の打倒計画。具體的には、当時のメディチ家当主の Giovanni de Medici 147521 らの暗殺計画。

教皇 Sixtus iv 141484 は教皇庁の金融を担当するメディチ銀行を、メディチに對抗するフィレンチェのパッツィの銀行に移動、このため兩家の對立が激化、パッツィ派の Fサルヴィアテがピサ大司教に任じられるとメディチはその赴任を妨害したりなどした。かくしてパッツィ家はメディチ家当主のロレンツォを抹殺すべく陰謀を巡らした。教皇もこの陰謀を識ってゐながら默認してゐたと云はれてゐる。

陰謀の實行の場は、フィレンチェの Cathedorale di SantaMaria del Fiore、ミサの途中で実行された。ピサ大司教のサルヴィアティとパッツィ家のフランチェスコらがメディチの兄弟を襲撃し、弟の Giuliano de' Medici 145378 を刺殺したが、兄の Lorenzo de' Medici 144992 は傷を負ひながらも逃げ延びた。その後、フィレンチェ市民にメディチ家への反亂を呼びかけたが、かへって反撥され、捕らへられ、即刻處刑された。メディチ家のパッツィ家への報復は容赦ないものであった。パッツィ家の者、百人ほどが殘酷に處刑された。
このフィレンチェの事態にパッツィ家と結んでゐた Sitxtus iv は激怒し、フィレンツェ市を破門し、ナポリ王國と同盟してフィレンチェに宣戰布告した。
ロレンツォはこの危機にみづからナポリに乘り込み、國王フェルディナンドと會稽、和平を結んだ。
この時のパッツィ家の處刑の樣をボッティチェリがフレスコ画が描いたが、1494、メディチ家のフィレンチェ追放の時に破壞された。

ソ連では、映画のエイゼンシュタインがかつてない眞に映画的な手法で作った『戦艦ポチョムキン』を公開し、アメリカでは脂の乘りきったチャプリンが『黄金郷時代』を封切った。そのうへ、
ヒトラーまでが刑務所でモノした『わが鬪爭』を公刊したのもこの年のことであった。

この繪から反戰のメッセイジを受け取ることができるのだらうか。
私はたゞたゞ殺伐としてくるだけだ。悲しみも感じなければ怒りすら感じない。
もう一つの慘劇を、繪畫の慘劇を見てゐるだけだ。私にはさうとしか思はれなかった。

映画は娯樂メディアだ。本來、大衆用のメディアである。それを動かしがたい前提にして、そのなかに藝術性、思想性をどう盛りこんでいくか。さうした試みは野心と才能のある監督たちにより繰り返し試みられたが、成功した例は稀少だい。矛盾した目的の一石二鳥の試みはアブハチ取らずに終ってしまふ。唯一と云っていいその成功例がこの『七人の侍』だ。娯楽性をタップリ保持したうへに、人間についての観察と洞察とがなされ、登場人物がリアリティを持って個性的に描きだされる。
まるで記録映畫、ドキュメンタリフィルムのやうに、作り物感が消化されて、俳優の顏をした者は一人もゐない。
無駄なく無理なく緊密な、用意周到のプロット、萬全のキャスティング、セリフも衣裝もすべてその時代を表現してゐる。そこに現代人はゐない。俳優はゐない。侍と農民と野伏がゐる。
私は、この作品こそ日本人が聖書とすべきものだとさへ思ってゐる。日本人が古來より理想像としてきた文武兩道の士人、危機的な状況にあって犠牲的精神となるその雄姿、おそらく文字で表現したのでは嘘っぽい虚像になってしまふであらう彼等の行動が、信ずることのできる行動が生きた人間によって描きだされてゐる。映画でしかできないことが成されてゐるのだ。
日本人が歸っていく人間はこの映画のなかに息づいてゐる。
子供たちに、眠りに就いた子供にこの映画を夢のなかで見るほどに見せ続け、燒きつけてしまふのだ ―― と
伊豆スカイラインからの眺めがなつかしい。
